Diversity Family Health was born out of a need for gender-affirming and primary care services for the gender-diverse community based on the recognized barriers to care. Although the clinic encourages the support of a mental health provider during your journey, Diversity Family Health starts gender-affirming hormone therapy under informed consent. They accept most major insurances and have a low-cost program for those not insured, which currently includes a $70 office visit and $80 for the lab needed to support your journey.
If you are just starting, the clinic sees you every three months for the first year and then at 18 months, 24 months, and then yearly after that.
